Ethiopia PRISM baseline assessment report
In 2018/2019, a comprehensive baseline assessment of the routine health information system (HIS) performance was carried out by MOH with the technical support of Ethiopia Data Use Partnership (DUP). The assessment was conducted across the 11 regions/city administrations in the 35 woredas and 3 sub-cities selected for the Capacity Building and Mentorship Program (CBMP). All of the 38 health offices, 219 public health facilities, and randomly sampled 132 health (one health post per health center) were surveyed, and about 623 health managers and staff from these institutions were interviewed using the Performance of Routine Information System Management (PRISM) framework and tools.
