What We Do
In 2016, the Ethiopian Ministry of Health (MOH) launched the Information Revolution, a strategy that fundamentally transforms the practice of manual data collection and information use, and champions data-driven decision-making.
Committed to the MOH’s vision of health being essential for a productive and prosperous society, DUP has supported the implementation of the Information Revolution since 2017.

Our areas of engagement include:
- Strengthening organizational capacities
- Selective health system design and implementation
- Accelerating system expansion and capacity building
- Cultural change activities
The project activities follow the Information Revolution’s framework that includes two pillars, cultivating an information culture and digitization, as well as a foundation of HIS governance, emphasizing country leadership, ownership, and strong coordination among diverse stakeholders.
